Coach JD (Jack O'Connell)

Coach JD leads our Advanced Scoring camps/trainings, pushing skaters to create more scoring chances, improve their shooting, and think about the ice differently. Coach JD played hockey for 22 years.

• 4 years at Edgewood High School
• 2 years Junior A
• 1 year at Marian University (D3)
• 4 years at Lindenwood University (D1)

As a professional shooter for over a decade, he worked with Mike Valley (former Dallas Stars Goalie Coach), shooting on Division 1 and professional goalies, including Brian Elliott (St. Louis Blues). As a professional shooting coach, he works with players throughout the Dane County area and beyond. He also works closely with Shane Connelly (Shane Connelly Goaltending).

It is not anticipated that Coach JD will coach a spring Monsters team
